Fees and Payment Policies
As an organization committed to cost-effectiveness, JHUMUNC is proud to host a world-class conference with no advisor fees and flexible payment options. Please read below to learn about our Registration Periods, Registration Fees, Payment Deadlines, and Refund Deadlines. JHUMUNC features three separate Registration Periods from May 2020 to January 2021. PLEASE NOTE: All payments must be made during the payment period that corresponds with the delegation’s registration period, as specified by their registration confirmation email. If payment is not made during that specified payment period, the delegation’s balance will be rolled over to the next registration period’s rates. For example: a delegation which registers under Regular Registration shall be charged Regular Registration rates, and will not be permitted to pay Early Registration rates, even if the Early Registration Payment Period is ongoing.
JHUMUNC 2021 will feature a payment system that allows schools to pay either by check or online through Eventbrite. The due date for checks and Eventbrite payments will be the same. All checks must be postmarked by the due date. We encourage delegations to pay by Eventbrite where possible, as this allows for assignments to be made much faster than the traditional 2-3 week waiting period for checks.
Please note that for the Early and Regular Registration Periods, if payment for a delegation is not submitted by the deadlines listed, the delegation will be bumped to the next Registration Period and will be asked to pay its corresponding fees. Each Period has a Registration Deadline and separate Payment Deadline.
Please note that the registration and payment deadlines have changed dramatically since JHUMUNC 2020, in an effort to provide schools with flexibility in registering among the uncertainty caused by COVID-19 and to ensure that those who register and pay under the Early and Regular Registration Periods are guaranteed their assignments before the Winter Holidays.

Please note that country, position, and committee assignments will not be made on behalf of your delegation until we receive full payment. We kindly ask for no more than one check per school per payment period, unless extra delegates are being added unexpectedly.
You may find your invoice for the conference by logging in to your account. Payment should be made by check or through Eventbrite. For more information on both payment methods, please read below.

We ask that if paying by check, you please send a photocopy of the check to email@example.com before sending to the address listed below to allow the process of assigning positions to begin sooner.

Payment By Eventbrite
JHUMUNC now offers payment via Eventbrite, a safe, quick way to pay Registration Fees.
Please note that credit card payment through Eventbrite will include an additional 3% processing fee which is not reflected in the registration invoice on the JHUMUNC website. Payments via check will still be accepted with no additional fees.
Other Forms of Payment
Other forms of payment are available for non-American delegations. For more information, please contact the Office of School Relations and Registration.
JHUMUNC offers two Refund Periods.
Requests for a refund should be addressed to the Under-Secretaries-General of School Relations (firstname.lastname@example.org). Additionally, for registration fees paid through Eventbrite, refund requests will be processed through Eventbrite.
Please note that the Delegation Fee is non-refundable.
Before December 1st, 2020: Full refund on Delegate Fees
December 1st – January 10th, 2021: 50% refund on Delegate Fees
After January 10th, 2021: No refund
